Most people on this route are going home for the weekend, heading to PGI for an appointment, or landing in Delhi and needing to get to Chandigarh the same day. A private cab picks you up at your door and drops you at the exact sector, hotel or hospital gate. You stop when you want to eat. Nobody asks you to share the back seat.
BookFast Cab runs Delhi to Chandigarh every day in sedans, Ertigas, Innova Crystas and Tempo Travellers. Your fare is fixed when you book, so there's no meter and no surprise at the drop point. Confirm: is the fare fixed at booking? Yes

Getting out of Delhi is usually the slowest part. Leave before 7 am and you'll often reach Chandigarh by late morning. Leave at 6 pm on a Friday and the Alipur to Kundli stretch alone can take an hour.
Past Sonipat the highway opens up and moves fast. The last bit through Zirakpur can slow down in the evening. In December and January, fog often adds an hour, and our drivers won't rush it.
Food and Rest Stops on the Way
• Murthal (around 50 km from Delhi): the dhaba strip known for parathas. Most people stop here.
• Karnal (around 125 km): highway restaurants and fuel stations, roughly halfway.
• Ambala (around 200 km): a good last break before Chandigarh.
• [a stop your drivers usually suggest, clean dhaba near Kurukshetra with good parking]
A meal stop is part of the trip and costs nothing extra. If you want a longer break, just tell us when you book.

Which Cab Should You Book?
Sedan. Good for up to 4 people with two medium bags. It's the cheapest way to do this trip, and most solo travellers and couples pick it.
Ertiga. Six seats and room for 4 bags. A family of five with an elderly parent will be more comfortable here than squeezed into a sedan.
Innova Crysta. More legroom, a smoother ride and space for 5 bags. Worth it for older passengers, business guests, or anyone who wants to arrive without a stiff back.
Tempo Traveller. For weddings, office groups and big families of 9 to 26 people. In wedding season, book at least advance booking time in wedding season 15 days ahead.
One-Way or Round Trip?
Book one way if you're staying in Chandigarh or moving on to Shimla or Manali. You pay only for the drive there, not for the cab's empty return.
Book a round trip if you're coming back to Delhi within a day or a few days. The same cab and driver stay with you for meetings, hospital visits or sightseeing in the Tricity. The driver's night stay costs driver night stay charge ₹300 per night.
The train is faster from station to station. But add the ride to New Delhi station, the wait, and an auto at the other end, and the gap closes. For three or four people, a cab often costs about the same as train tickets plus local transport.
Going Further From Chandigarh?
Many people heading to Chandigarh are actually on their way to the hills. You can keep the same cab and skip the change.
• Kasauli: about 60 km from Chandigarh
• Shimla: about 115 km
• Manali: about 300 km
• Amritsar: about 230 km
