How long does Delhi to Abohar take by taxi?
Plan for about 8 to 9 hours. Getting out of Delhi is usually the slowest part. Once you're past Bahadurgarh and onto NH-9, the highway is wide and moves well all the way to Sirsa. Most of our riders take one meal stop around Hisar and a short tea break near Sirsa or Dabwali.
What's the best time to leave Delhi?
Leave between 5 and 6 am if you can. You'll miss the city's morning rush and reach Abohar by mid-afternoon, with the whole drive in daylight. If you need to travel at night, that's fine too. Our drivers do this route regularly and our support line is open around the clock.
Which Car Should You Book for Delhi to Abohar?
Eight hours is a long time to sit in a car, so it's worth picking the right one.
Sedan – Dzire, Aura, Amaze, Xcent
Seats 4 people with up to 4 bags. The most affordable option, and comfortable enough for 1 to 3 passengers on a long drive.
SUV – Ertiga, Marazzo, XL6, Rumion
Seats 6 people with up to 6 bags. The extra legroom and space to stretch out make a real difference on a 400 km trip. Good for families and anyone carrying extra luggage.
SUV Prime – Kia Carens, Innova Crysta, Innova Hycross
Seats 7 people with up to 7 bags. If you're travelling with elderly parents or young children, this is the one we'd recommend. The seats are softer, the ride is smoother on long stretches, and you'll arrive in Abohar far less tired.
